How long has 21st Century Dental® been around?

21st Century Dental® has been around since 1985. The doctors you will see have more than 50 years of combined practice.

I’m a bit tense. What can you do to help me relax?

We offer a wide variety of techniques and methods for making your visit at 21st Century Dental® as relaxing as possible. Among sedation techniques, we offer IV sedation, oral sedation with halcion and nitrous oxide. We also have massage mats in all chairs, blankets to keep you comfortable, milk shakes after treatment, TVs and CD players in each room, eye masks and many other methods to make you feel like maybe this isn’t really a dental office!

One thing I hate is being sent to different offices when I need something. Will you do that too?

We know exactly how you feel, and this is why 21st Century Dental® is constructed around the philosophy that keeps you from shuffling all around Irving or Dallas to get treatment. In addition to Dr. Kent Smith and Dr. Jeff M. Roy, who are here full-time, we have Dr. Ken White, who comes in once a week to perform root canals and Dr. Monica Bazan, a board-certified periodontist, who comes in to perform periodontal surgery, including implant placement. Dr. Roy can remove your wisdom teeth, and both Dr. Smith and Dr. Roy are Invisalign-certified, so your teeth can be straightened right here. Additionally, we have two anesthesiologists who are on call in our office to help with surgical procedures.

OK, but I’m also worried about how I’ll pay for your dental services. How can you help?

First of all, we do not charge for any of the techniques and methods mentioned above, other than IV sedation, where an anesthesiologist is brought in to administer the medications. However, we do accept assignment of your dental insurance benefits. Additionally, we provide quite a few financing options through third parties should you need those services. Glad you asked! Actually, we have all new patient forms available on our web site - even those pesky HIPAA forms you have to fill out to keep the government happy.

You might be surprised to hear that most of our patients do not live in Irving or Las Colinas. Many do work in Irving, but we have many who also come from distances far from the Irving area. We have some directions for you on our dental web site, but if you have any other problems, you can always e-mail us at directions@21stCenturyDental.com.

Is your dental office clean?

There are not many aspects of our office that we treat with more diligence than cleanliness and safety, as well as sterility of our instruments. Our Triangle Steri-Center is specially designed for this purpose, but you can read more about all of our preventive techniques on our dental web site.
